AFR launches sports radio show

By Staff

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--American Family Radio has launched a sports radio show from a Christian perspective.

The program, "College Football This Week," is hosted by ESPN college football analyst Mike Gottfried and American Family Association President Tim Wildmon.

In addition to news on college football, the show will feature stories of Christian players and coaches.

"The stories of all the people's lives and what they've gone through, mistakes they made are all a part of trying to get the message out there of salvation," Gottfried said in a story on onenewsnow.com. "So I think it's going to be interesting to find out even about the past and future of a lot of the sports celebrities out in our country."

An AFR station listing is available at www.afr.net.
