Union women win 52nd straight at home

JACKSON, Tenn. (BP)--The No. 1 ranked Union University Lady Bulldogs posted their 52nd straight home win with a 101-44 victory over Mid-Continent (Ky.) University Jan. 18.

Union improved to 18-1 on the season and 5-0 in the TranSouth. Mid-Continent dropped to 1-14 overall and 0-4 in league play.

The win for Union also marked their 40th straight TranSouth regular season victory.

Union, winners of 11 straight, began the game with a 19-0 run. Union pushed its largest lead of the first half to 41 points with the halftime score of 60-19.
