Baylor women hammer McNeese State

WACO, Texas (BP)--Baylor (2-0-0) used seven goals from six different players, including six in the second half, en route to a 7-0 win over McNeese State (0-2-0) Aug. 22 at Betty Lou Mays Field.

The win marks the first 2-0 start for the Bears since 2007.

Sophomore Hanna Gilmore led the way with two goals and an assist, while sophomore Lisa Sliwinski added a pair of assists and freshmen Selby Polley and Kat Ludlow each had a goal and an assist.

The Bears took 30 shots on the afternoon, the most for BU since blasting 38 shots against Prairie View A&M on Sept. 7, 2008.
