C-N's Sullivan named SAC Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (BP)—Carson-Newman junior guard Antonio Sullivan was named the South Atlantic Conference men's basketball Player of the Week, league officials announced Jan. 24.

Sullivan scored 16 points in a pair of conference victories for the Eagles.

He had 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Eagles to a 73-71 win at Mars Hill. He also had a pair of rebounds and one steal.

Sullivan closed out the week with 16 points to help C-N collect a 75-71 victory at Anderson. He also pulled down four rebounds against the Trojans.

Sullivan, who has reached double figures in scoring in nine straight games, leads C-N in scoring this season with an average of 13.7 points per game.
