Men's Player of the Week

Sean Parker (Wayland Baptist), 6'5, SR, F, Lubbock, TX. Parker scored a career-high 39 points and pulled six rebounds while leading the Pioneers to an impressive 98-85 win over NM Highlands. For the week, Parker averaged 28.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in two wins, while shooting 55% (21/38) from the field and 42% (5/12) from three-point range. It is the second P-O-W for Sean Parker.

Women's Player of the Week

Rachel Stark (Oklahoma Baptist), 6'0, SR, F, Leawood, KS. Stark had an impressive week, leading the Lady Bison to the championship game of the Capital City Shootout. In four games (three wins), Stark averaged 22.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game. She scored 34 in an OBU win over #7 Life, shot 49% (35/71) from the field and 38% (8/21) from three point range.

OTHER NOMINEES: Sarah Reese (OC), April Jordan-Winn (WBU), Taiwo Rafiu (OCU), Theresa Schuknecht (SNU).

* WBU's April Jordan-Winn scored a career high 27 points in the Flying Queens' win over Henderson State.

* LCU's Dusty Middleton went 10/19 from three-point range in two Chaps' wins this week to keep them undefeated at 6-0.

* OBU's Dujuan Brown averaged 27.6 ppg in three Bison wins, including 30 points versus National Christian.

* SNU's Tyrone Ellis averaged 27.5 ppg in two Storm losses this week, including a 32-point performance versus Houston Baptist.
